El Shaddai’s Refuge, Inc. (ESR) is a men’s addiction recovery residence that was established in December of 2015. It is located in southern Laurens County just outside of Dublin, GA. We are situated on approximately 45 acres near a freshwater spring and the Oconee River. ESR is certified by the Georgia Association of Recovery Residences (GARR), approved by the Georgia Department of Community Supervision’s THOR Housing program, and deemed as an appropriate treatment option by drug/accountability and superior courts. ESR provides clinical services through a Certified Addiction Counselor Level II, utilizing evidence-based practices. The program operates in a Christian faith-based environment, providing access to 12-step meetings, on-going counseling, peer support, life skills education, and employment opportunities.
El Shaddai’s Refuge, Inc. is a 12-18 month private substance use recovery ministry that is appropriate for men ages 25-55. Our program is intended for the self-motivated individual who needs supportive structure and accountability. We are not a program designed to force individuals to change. Highly motivated individuals are most likely to be successful in this program. Criminogenic mindsets are not appropriate for this program. Our community is currently set for 6 men; the recovery atmosphere is a family-style approach. El Shaddai’s Refuge is a nicotine free and vape free campus; residents are not allowed to use these products on or off campus.
